Four people killed in a military helicopter crash in the outskirt of Phnom Penh

The Cambodia Herald -- Four military staff were killed when a military helicopter crashed into a deep pond Monday morning near Prey Sar prison, outskirt of Phnom Penh, officials confirmed.

Now, the helicopter and the victims have not been found yet, said a military source.

The military source said the China-made Z9 helicopter crashed during the training flying.
The helicopter was bought from China last year , according to the source.

Yin Sokha, deputy commander of the royal air forces of Cambodia said at the scene that four people were killed in the military helicopter crash including a two-star general and one-star general and two others.

They were in the training mission while the helicopter crashed. Another person was injured and was hospitalized.

He said that it was not clear yet on what caused the crash.
