Vietnam island airport opens flights to Singapore, Cambodia

Vietnam Airlines will launch new international routes on November 1, connecting the Kien Giang Province’s Phu Quoc airport to Singapore and Cambodia.

The Phu Quoc – Singapore route will carry two flights a week and the Phu Quoc – Siem Riep route will carry three flights a week.

According to the provincial authorities, Korean Air is going to open a new flight route from InCheon airport to Phu Quoc Airport.

The relatively new international airport currently runs over 20 daily flights between the island and Vietnam’s biggest cities including Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition to domestic airlines, the island airport began welcoming six Phu Quoc – Russia flights per month.
